It quoted Defense Minister David Tonoyan as stressing the importance of the gathering in the context of raising the knowledge of the command staff of the armed forces. The minister delivered a lecture on the geopolitical situation in the region and possible developments.
He detailed, in particular, the main challenges of the security zone around Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), external threats, including military ones, existing and potential developments, stemming from regional interests and confrontations, basic guarantees for ensuring favorable conditions for the Armenian side in the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict . --0--
