YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. The defense ministries of Armenia and Greece have signed a new military cooperation program, the Armenian Embassy in Greece reported.

It said the agreement was signed March 28 by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department at the Armenian Defense Ministry and Vasilios Tsami, Director of International Relations Department at the General Staff of National Defense of Greece.

The program envisages 21 measures, 15 of which are in Greece and 6 in Armenia. They include:

- cooperation in operational training,.

- joint training of special operations forces,

- joint exercises of electronic warfare,

- participation in Multinational Peacekeeping Operations Training Center courses,

- exchange of experiences and lessons learned in the use of anti-aircraft systems

- personnel exchanges and school and multinational school visits and workshops

- staff meetings and negotiations on issues of mutual interest, with special emphasis on cooperation with military intelligence. --0--
