YEREVAN, March 23. /ARKA/. Armenia has sent humanitarian aid to Iran, primarily in the form of medicines. This was announced by RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on foreign relations on Monday.
"It couldn't have been any other way," Mirzoyan said.
Responding to a question from opposition Armenia faction MP Kristine Vardanyan about whether this had been publicly announced, Mirzoyan said there was no need to publicize it.
On February 28, the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran, to which the Islamic Republic responded with a series of massive attacks. The conflict escalated into a full-scale war.
