YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. Armenia is actively preparing for the upcoming visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan said in an interview with the IRNA news agency,

"We are confident that this historic and long-awaited visit will further strengthen the political rapprochement between our two countries and open up new opportunities for economic cooperation.

We expect important documents to be signed between the two countries, although we are keeping some details secret for now," said Kostanyan.

The Iranian president is scheduled to visit Armenia from August 18 to 21. As part of the visit, a business forum will be held in Yerevan on August 19. -0-
