Armenia and the United Kingdom prioritize deepening economic cooperation

YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and U.K. Minister of State for Europe, North America, and the United Kingdom's Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty emphasized the importance of further deepening economic cooperation.

According to the Security Council's press service, at their meeting in London, Grigoryan and Doughty expressed their intention to strengthen business ties and promote economic growth through cooperation.

The interlocutors addressed the issue of increasing people-to-people contacts and emphasized the importance of further cooperation in professional exchange, education, and culture. In this context, they discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom.

The parties reaffirmed the importance of opening communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which will contribute to strengthening peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.-0-
