YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. Armenia and the EU signed a financial agreement for 2025-2027 under the Resilience and Growth Plan, announced RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

"This agreement sets out ambitious measures, particularly in key areas such as export diversification, visa liberalization, and public finance management," Grigoryan noted at a joint press conference with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos on Thursday in Yerevan.

He added that special attention was paid to regional connectivity, and in this context, an agreement was reached to continue work within the framework of the government's Crossroads of Peace initiative, the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, and the EU's interregional connectivity, particularly in areas of the Global Gates strategy. "It's gratifying that the Commissioner confirmed the EU's support for Armenia's integration into the Trans-Caspian Transport Route," Grigoryan said.

Kos, in turn, stated that the financial agreement signed was for €140 million.
