YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today the appointment of Armen Ghularyan as chairman of the Urban Development Committee.

Ghularyan served as first deputy chairman of the Urban Development Committee. After the arrest of the head of the committee, Vahagn Vermishyan, he served as acting chairman.

Vermishyan was arrested last February on suspicion of receiving bribes.--0--
