France to have new co-chair in Minsk Group

A French diplomat, Jacques Faure, is set to replace Bernard Fassier as the French co-chairman in the OSCE Minsk Group set up to help Azerbaijan and Armenia find a mutually acceptable peace formula for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
YEREVAN, November 24. /ARKA/. A French diplomat, Jacques Faure, is set to replace Bernard Fassier as the French co-chairman in the OSCE Minsk Group set up to help Azerbaijan and Armenia find a mutually acceptable peace formula for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Bernard Fassier will complete his mission at the end of this year, the French embassy in Armenia told ARKA today. The embassy said in a press release that Faure served until recently as French ambassador to Ukraine. Other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are Robert Bradtke (USA) and Igor Popov (Russia). -0-
