YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. Authorities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been searching for missing and killed servicemen and civilians throughout the region since September 21, the State Emergency Service said in a Facebook post.

It said on September 21, the body of a civilian was found in Achapnyak quarter of Stepanakert.

On September 22, the employees of the Emergency Service and Interior Ministry found the body of a serviceman near the village of Gaibalishen and the bodies of two dead servicemen were found in Charektar village.

On September 23, 68 bodies were evacuated, including 4 civilians from Sarnaghbyur village of Askeran region - 2 were children and the other two- elderly spouses.

On the same day two live citizens were found in Nakhijevanik and Sarushen villages.

As a result of search operations conducted on September 24 in different directions, a total of 34 bodies were evacuated, and 3 civilians were found in Shosh village of Askeran region. Search and rescue operations continue.
Earlier, Nagorno-Karabakh human rights defender said that more than 200 people were killed in the Azerbaijani military aggression on Sept. 19 and more than 400 were wounded.

On September 19 Azerbaijan launched an "anti-terror" operation in the region demanding that Karabakh's forces raise a white flag, disband their armed forces and dissolve their "illegal regime".

After 24-hour fierce fighting the ethnic Armenian authorities in Stepanakert gave in. Under the terms of the truce, outlined by Azerbaijan and the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent on the ground, Karabakh armed forces must commit to being completely disbanded as well as disarmed.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh human rights defender’s office, more than 10 thousand people have been evacuated from the communities seized by Azerbaijanis, several thousand cannot find their missing relatives -women, children and elderly people.

As of 21:30 September 20, the number of casualties stood at 200, including children, the number of wounded at more than 400.

Azerbaijani officials and Karabakh’s Armenian representatives had three meetings for "re-integration" talks in the Azerbaijani towns of Yevlakh and Shushi. -0-
