Woman in childbirth dies in medical center in Yerevan

A 37-year-old woman in childbirth died yesterday in Slavmed, one of Yerevan’s medical centers, the press office of Armenia’s health ministry reported on Friday.
YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. A 37-year-old woman in childbirth died yesterday in Slavmed, one of Yerevan’s medical centers, the press office of Armenia’s health ministry reported on Friday.
All the necessary information was submitted to law enforcement agencies. On the same day, Armen Muradyan, health minister, met with the medical center’s head, responsible personnel and senior specialists.
Razmik Abrahamyan, the chief obstetrician- gynecologist of Armenia, told the minister that the woman died at her postnatal period.
A preliminary investigation is under way now. Forensic examination is ordered to find out the cause of this death. --0---
