Strong earthquake recorded in northern Armenia

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded by Armenia’s seismic protection service at 23.35 local time (19:35 GMT) on May 1 about 13 kilometers north-east of the village of Bavra on the Armenian-Georgian border, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
YEREVAN, May 2. /ARKA/. A magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded by Armenia’s seismic protection service at 23.35 local time (19:35 GMT) on May 1 about 13 kilometers north-east of the village of Bavra on the Armenian-Georgian border, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
It said the force of the quake whose source was 14 km deep was 6 points. The earthquake was felt in Shirak, Tavush, Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Lori regions of Armenia. -0-
