The staff of a police department in charge of passports and visas was evacuated today after an unknown man called police to warn of a bomb ostensibly planted in the building located at Mashots Avenue, 13 in downtown Yerevan.

YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. The staff of a police department in charge of passports and visas was evacuated today after an unknown man called police to warn of a bomb ostensibly planted in the building located at Mashots Avenue, 13 in downtown Yerevan.

Immediately after the call police and other security agencies officers arrived at the site.

After evacuating the staff they started a massive checking the building, police said. -0-
