Artsakh resident gets lost and detained by Azerbaijani troops
YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. A citizen of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was detained today by Azerbaijani troops after getting lost and ending up in a territory controlled by Azerbaijan, the Nagorno-Karabakh National Security Service said today.
NSS said it was taking measures for the return of the citizen, identified as S. S. The NSS said the citizen, resident of Chartar village of Martuni region, born in 1956, was reported missing at about 13.00.
‘As a result of measures taken it was found out that the citizen of Artsakh lost his way and appeared in a territory controlled by the Azerbaijani armed forces and was detained," NSS said.
It said Russian peacekeepers were immediately informed about the incident. Negotiations are currently underway to return the citizen, it said. -0-
