An Armenian serviceman, identified by his initials M.G. is believed to have got lost and finding himself on the territory controlled by Azerbaijan, the Armenian Defense Ministry said today.
YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. An Armenian serviceman, identified by his initials M.G. is believed to have got lost and finding himself on the territory controlled by Azerbaijan, the Armenian Defense Ministry said today.
It said the incident occurred at 12:20 p.m. on March 21, when the serviceman was delivering food by car to a military outpost. The incident was blamed on poor visibility and fog.
"Search and rescue operations were immediately launched and steps are being taken to confirm the soldier's location in Azerbaijani-controlled territory and his return," the ministry said. -0-
