YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. The capital of Armenia is among the top five cities for international passenger traffic at Sochi Airport.
According to TASS, last year the airport (owned by Aerodinamika Group) served 12.5 million passengers, a decrease of almost 9%. Meanwhile, international passenger traffic reached a record high of over 1.8 million, compared to 1.7 million in 2024.
The leading international passenger traffic destinations at Sochi Airport were Istanbul, Antalya (Turkey), Yerevan (Armenia), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), and Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt). The total number of passengers on these five routes exceeded 1.2 million.
