The World Bank expects Armenia's economy to grow by 5.2% in 2025 and 4.9% in 2026, according to the World Bank's Europe and Central Asia Economic Update, Fall 2025.
YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. The World Bank expects Armenia's economy to grow by 5.2% in 2025 and 4.9% in 2026, according to the World Bank's Europe and Central Asia Economic Update, Fall 2025.
In a similar report released in the spring, the World Bank projected Armenia's economic growth to be 4% in 2025 and 4.2% in 2026. Thus, the forecast for the current year has been improved by 1.2 percentage points, and for next year by 0.7 percentage points.
The forecast for 2027 has also been improved by 0.2 percentage points, reaching 4.7%.
Armenia's economic growth projected in the 2025 state budget is 5.1%. According to the Central Bank's monetary policy report for the third quarter of this year, the GDP growth is expected to be 5.8-5.7% by the end of 2025, 5.7-6.2% in 2026, and 5-6.3% in 2027, depending on scenarios (A-B).-0-
