Wildberries announced a phased restoration of sales of goods from Armenia
YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Wildberries announces a phased restoration of sales outside Armenia of certain goods produced and labeled in Armenia.

The Wildberries-Armenia press service noted that previously, due to the entry into force of new customs regulations and the need for sellers to provide additional documents to confirm the origin of goods, some shipments faced additional checks and processing delays at sorting centers.
To streamline the process and prevent further delays, the availability of certain product cards outside Armenia was temporarily limited.

According to the Wildberries-Armenia press service, as a result of joint work with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders, a roadmap for resolving the situation was developed, within which the availability of Armenian-made product cards has already been partially restored.

It is noted that as part of the roadmap's implementation, sellers are also provided with support, including personalized technical support and assistance with product promotion, aimed at ensuring a full sales recovery.

"In the next stages, it is also planned to resume sales of goods produced within the EAEU, as well as goods manufactured outside the EAEU. At the same time, the company continues to collaborate with sellers to collect the necessary documents to fully restore sales," noted the Wildberries-Armenia press service.

At the same time, the company reports that work is being accelerated to expand the platform's technical capabilities to automate document processing and verification processes.

A special "Made in Armenia" section will also be launched on the platform, featuring products manufactured in the Republic of Armenia.

Restrictions on the Wildberries and Ozon platforms in Armenia

On May 1, it was announced that Wildberries and Ozon would cease sales of Armenian products abroad.

Wildberries-Armenia's press service explained that the situation is related to the application of additional customs clearance procedures for certain categories of goods in Russia. The company also noted that customs clearance regulations in Russia changed on April 20. To comply with the new requirements, sellers were required to provide additional documents as part of the updated procedures.

Ozon also reported temporary difficulties with the delivery of goods from Armenia to Russia due to changes in customs clearance.
