Water reservoirs in Armenia will accumulate this year 10 percent less water compared to the past year, according to Levon Azizyan, director of the State Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment.
YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. Water reservoirs in Armenia will accumulate this year 10 percent less water compared to the past year, according to Levon Azizyan, director of the State Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment.
He said water level in 5 major reservoirs of the country is expected to be at a relatively acceptable level.
'Akhuryan and Arpi reservoirs will be filled by 65-70%, Azat and Marmarik reservoirs by 75-80% and Aparan reservoir by 45-50%," said Azizyan at a press conference on Thursday. -0-
