YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. Speaking to journalists after talks with his visiting Turkmen counterpart in Yerevan today Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan said the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told him he was thinking about billions of USD worth joint projects. ‘This is very inspiring and we will certainly work in this direction," Sargsyan said.

According to the president, the parties agreed to further develop effective cooperation in the energy sector. Sargsyan expressed confidence that by joint efforts both countries can promote large-scale projects,

He said Armenia and Turkmenistan are discussing also the possibility of launching direct regular flights. ‘In this respect we are ready to provide our Turkmen friends with the entire set of preferences envisaged by our open sky policy," added Sargsyan. -0-
