Turkish Airlines has launched flights on the Istanbul-Yerevan-Istanbul route, the press service of Zvartnots International Airport reported on Facebook.
YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Turkish Airlines has launched flights on the Istanbul-Yerevan-Istanbul route, the press service of Zvartnots International Airport reported on Facebook.
"Today, Turkish Airlines' first flight from Istanbul International Airport arrived at Zvartnots International Airport," the statement read.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia Stepan Payaslyan, Director and General Manager of Armenia International Airports CJSC Marcelo Wende, Vice President of Sales (Eastern Europe) Huseyin Ozbek, and General Manager of Turkish Airlines for Georgia and Armenia Kenan Ince.
Flights on the Istanbul–Yerevan–Istanbul route will operate daily, increasing to 10 flights per week starting May 14, and to 14 flights per week starting June 15.
