YEREVAN, December 10. /ARKA/. The trade turnover between Armenia and Azerbaijan ought to cover all varieties of goods, according to Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly.

"We shouldn't limit ourselves to just oil products; trade should involve all kinds of goods. We are prepared for this," he remarked during a press briefing on Wednesday, in response to comments made by an aide to the Azerbaijani president regarding discussions on the export of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia.

He emphasized that the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative and the peace "we are all discussing is exactly this.

"We are referring to all kinds of goods. Regarding oil products, certainly, why not? The more options we have in energy resources, whether oil or gas – everything that is feasible – the better. Armenia should capitalize on this and create opportunities for Azerbaijan to also find interest and gain from exporting goods through Armenia to Nakhichevan or Turkey," Simonyan stated.-0-
