YEREVAN, April 2. /ARKA/. Taxi drivers in Armenia will become beneficiaries of universal health insurance starting in 2027, announced RA Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan.

"The beneficiaries will be those who transport passengers via electronic platforms," Avanesyan noted at a government meeting on Thursday.

According to her, this was proposed by the taxi drivers themselves; starting January 1, 2027, already insured individuals will be able to include their affiliates in the program.
