YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. A total of $865 million were invested in Armenian economy in 2017, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan said today.

"As for the fact that different ministers present different figures, the reason for this is that each of them presents the volume of investments in their sectors" he said during a Q&A session in parliament.

Karayan said that 68% of that amount were private investment, 25% were invested by credit and banking organizations, and the rest were investments made by the central government and local self-government bodies. -0-
