Russian business delegation set to visit Armenia in summer
YEREVAN, May 18. /ARKA/. Russia's trade representative to Armenia Anna Donchenko and co-chairmen of the Russian-Armenian Youth Union (RAYU) Rafael Poghosyan and Artur Movsisyan discussed today the details of the upcoming visit to Armenia by a Russian business delegation, slated for summer.
According to a RAYU press release, the parties determined also new areas of cooperation, including organization of youth forums under the aegis of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive arm of the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union.
Poghosyan was said to have spoken about the organization which he heads and stressed that RAYU is set to actively promote and develop the youth component of the Russian-Armenian allied relations.
"In this context there are many different platforms where the dialogue between the young people of our countries is closely developing. The forums of different formats held in the past years have proven their relevance, contributing to the identification of the potential of Russian and Armenian youth and laid strong foundations for further cooperation," Poghosyan was quoted as saying.
In her turn, Donchenko expressed confidence that such bilateral platforms as Armenian-Russian Youth Forum and Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum are important in terms of giving a new push to the bilateral cooperation. -0-
