Russian and Armenian presidents to have talks in St. Petersburg

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, as well as Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 17, Tass news agency said quoting a Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov.

YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, as well as Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 17, Tass news agency said quoting a Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov.

The Kremlin official recalled that Armenian President Khachaturyan is the new president of Armenia, whose inauguration was on March 13. He said it will be Putin’s first meeting with Khachaturyan.

According to Ushakov, Putin plans to spend a full day at the forum on June 17. "At the beginning there will be a plenary session, then bilateral meetings, and then a meeting with the heads of major media,’ he said.

This year the forum is being held under the slogan "The New World - New Opportunities". The main guest of the forum, according to Ushakov, will be Egypt that will send a large delegation of officials and business people, led by Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamia. -0-
