Production of copper concentrate in Armenia slashed by 20% in the first quarter of 2022 as opposed to the first quarter of 2021 to about 76,200 tons, according to the National Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. Production of copper concentrate in Armenia slashed by 20% in the first quarter of 2022 as opposed to the first quarter of 2021 to about 76,200 tons, according to the National Statistical Committee.

It said production of zinc concentrate dropped by 1.7% to 2,700 tons, while production of molybdenum concentrate fell by 0.9% to about 4,900 tons.

About 2.100 tons of ferromolybdenum were also produced in the reporting period, which is 23.3% more than in January-March 2021. -0-
