Problems with quality of state procurement persist - Armenian Prime Minister
YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan once again raised the issue of efficiency of state purchases and quality of purchased products.
Speaking at the government session, he noted that often the goods purchased by ordinary citizens for the same price turn out to be of higher quality.
"I caught myself thinking that I am afraid to say 'let's go and check what goods have been bought' because I am not sure that the same things that families buy for their children in this price segment have been bought. I don't know where that 'button' is that we need to push to fix the problem. We just have to work consistently," Pashinyan said.
In addition, the Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the attitude to state property is worse than to private property, and this should be corrected.
"Nobody scratches his name on a chair at home, but we see it in dozens of schools and universities. Or on the walls of temples or historical monuments: no one at home writes on the door 'so-and-so ate dolma here in 2016', but for some reason it is written on churches and other buildings," he noted." -0-
