Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting on Monday dedicated to procedural reforms of tax policy.
YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting on Monday dedicated to procedural reforms of tax policy.
Pashinyan noted that this meeting was a continuation of the recent discussion at a government meeting devoted to revising the criminal liability thresholds for acts considered tax evasion, the government press service reported.
The need to refine the proposed draft amendments was noted, after which the Prime Minister instructed to carry out additional work in this area.
State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan presented the results of the analysis, as well as proposals for new procedures, tax development, and improvements to tax administration.
During the meeting, work related to the transformation of the bona fide taxpayer institution was also discussed. Pashinyan noted the importance of consistently improving tax policy.
