Over 45 kg of medications concealed from customs control were confiscated from a passenger on the Tbilisi-Yerevan train, the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia reported.
YEREVAN, February 24. /ARKA/. Over 45 kg of medications concealed from customs control were confiscated from a passenger on the Tbilisi-Yerevan train, the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia reported.
According to the statement, the hidden medications were recently discovered during a train inspection at the Ayrum customs checkpoint. "Three large bags containing various medications, weighing a total of 45.5 kg, were found under the bed of one of the passengers," the SRC noted.
A report on the violation of customs regulations has been drawn up. The materials have been transferred to the SRC's legal department.
