YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. From July 1 to 7, 1,507 trucks loaded with apricots were exported from Armenia; they have already crossed the border with the Russian Federation, said Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.
“On July 7 alone, 76 trucks entered the Russian Federation,” Papoyan wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, Armenian trucks with cognac encountered problems at the “Upper Lars” checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border.
Due to additional laboratory tests requested by the Georgian side, dozens of trucks were unable to enter the Russian Federation for about two months. The problem was resolved in early June after the intervention of the Armenian Ministry of Economy.
