Number of registered jobs in Armenia increased by 40,490 during the year - minister
YEREVAN, May 2. /ARKA/. The number of registered jobs in Armenia saw a remarkable increase of 40,490 in the past year, bringing the total to 782,100, according to Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.
He shared this encouraging news on his Facebook page in a message celebrating International Labor and Workers' Solidarity Day on May 1.
Minister Papoyan also highlighted that, after adjusting for inflation, real wages have risen by 4.1% compared to last year.
"These positive trends reflect our collective efforts and the steady application of government policy," he noted.
In his message, he emphasized that genuine economic advancement hinges on targeted, collaborative, and knowledge-driven initiatives.
"Work should not be seen as a chore or burden but as a chance for self-expression, creativity, and the foundation of a secure future," Papoyan conveyed.-0-
