The industrial output in Armenia for the period of January to August 2025 reached 1,770,561.4 million drams (at current prices), reflecting a 7.8% decrease in comparison to the same period in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

In August, the industrial output was recorded at 268,813.1 million drams, indicating a 5.8% rise compared to August 2024 and a 10.7% increase relative to July 2025.
The production volume in the mining and open-pit mining sectors for the first eight months of this year was 311,983.0 million drams, which represents a 0.8% decrease compared to the corresponding period in 2024. Meanwhile, the output from the manufacturing sector was 1,190,906.1 million drams, showing a decline of 13.2%.
The supply volume of electricity, gas, steam, and purified air reached 246,485.6 million drams, marking a 13.2% increase, while the output for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling was 21,186.7 million drams, reflecting a 1.5% increase.
The manufacturing sector constituted the largest portion of industrial output during the January-August 2025 timeframe, accounting for 67.3%.
The mining and open-pit mining sector represented 17.6%, the electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply sector made up 13.9%, and the water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling sector accounted for 1.2%. ($1 - 382.58 drams). -0-
