Industrial output in Armenia increased by 10.6% in January, reaching 229.5 billion drams

Industrial output in Armenia in January 2026 amounted to 229,540.6 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 10.6% compared to January 2025 and a decrease of 56.7% compared to December 2025.
YEREVAN, March 9. /ARKA/. Industrial output in Armenia in January 2026 amounted to 229,540.6 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 10.6% compared to January 2025 and a decrease of 56.7% compared to December 2025. This is according to data published by the Statistical Committee.
The largest volume of industrial output in the first month of this year came from the manufacturing industry – 129,775.9 million drams (an increase of 4.3% year-on-year). Next came the mining industry and open-pit mining at 51,629.1 million drams (a 25.2% increase), the electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply sector at 45,628.6 million drams (a 17% increase), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling at 2,507.0 million drams (a 5.4% increase).
The manufacturing industry accounted for the largest share of industrial production in January 2026, accounting for 56.5%. The share of mining and open-pit mining was 22.5%, the electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply sector at 19.9%, and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling at 1.1%.
