"It is necessary that the attitude towards water becomes responsible, including careful use and prevention of water theft," he said in an interview with CivilNet.
According to Galamkaryan, there is also a problem with water accumulation.
"We have large volumes of surface water that we cannot accumulate today," Galamkaryan said.
He also pointed out that the deficit of reservoirs leads to excessive loading of Lake Sevan.
The official also believes that there is an acute shortage of qualified personnel in the public administration system in Armenia.
