Gross production in Armenia's agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sectors exceeded 1.1 trillion drams in 2025

The gross value of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries output in Armenia in 2025, at current prices, amounted to 1,133,937.9 million drams, an increase of 5.6% compared to 2024, according to the Statistical Committee.
YEREVAN, February 22. /ARKA/. The gross value of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries output in Armenia in 2025, at current prices, amounted to 1,133,937.9 million drams, an increase of 5.6% compared to 2024, according to the Statistical Committee.
Thus, agricultural production increased by 5.6% last year, reaching 1,057,224.0 million drams. Crop production volume amounted to 539,902.7 million drams, an increase of 9.7% compared to the previous year, while livestock production amounted to 517,321.3 million drams, an increase of 1.8%.
In 2025, the republic sold 187.5 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat for slaughterhouses (live weight), an increase of 2%. 565.5 thousand tons of milk (a decrease of 1.5%) and 807.4 million eggs (an increase of 12%) were also produced.
During the reporting period, grain and legume production totaled 110,377 thousand tons (up 15.9%), potatoes 342,200 tons (up 1.3%), vegetables 662,500 tons (up 2%), melons 116,000 tons (down 5.5%), fruits and berries 411,700 tons (up 19.7%), and grapes 244,600 tons (up 24.9%).
Forestry production totaled 5,054.3 million drams (up 23%), while fisheries production totaled 71,659.6 million drams (up 3.7%). ($1 = 377.88 drams).
