The Armenian government has provided today tax benefits to a number of companies, which pledged to make investments in sectors, recognized by the government as priorities and create new jobs.
YEREVAN, August 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has provided today tax benefits to a number of companies, which pledged to make investments in sectors, recognized by the government as priorities and create new jobs.
Two companies were exempted from customs duties for the import of equipment, their components, additional parts and raw materials. One is Rock Bury LLC, which plans to create a greenhouse farm, make 2.6 billion drams investment and create 60 jobs with an average salary of 80,000 drams. Most of the products are planned to be exported to Russia and some other member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Arman and Partner LLC plans to build refrigerated warehouses using innovative technologies that ensure the preservation of Armenian fruits for a longer period and export higher quality products. The company plans to invest $10 million, create 100 jobs with an average salary of 120 thousand. This company will be awarded a VAT payment deferment next week.
The Armenian government also granted a 3-year VAT payment deferment to Salevs company, which promised 850 million dram investment and creation of 20 new jobs with the average salary of 160 thousand drams. ($ 1 - 481.786 drams). -0-
