Gazprom-Armenia resumes gas supplies from Russia to Armenia
YEREVAN, May 4. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Russian-owned natural gas distributor Gazprom Armenia has resumed delivery of Russian natural gas to Armenia after completing the scheduled repair of a section of the North Caucasus-South Caucasus main gas pipeline running through the southern Russian province of Stavropol.
During the halt period, households and enterprises in Armenia were receiving natural gas without restrictions from the Abovyan underground natural gas storage facility.
Gazprom-Armenia, a 100% subsidiary of Russian Gazprom Holding, is the monopoly supplier of natural gas from Russia to Armenia across Georgia. The company is also engaged in transportation, storage, distribution and sales of gas, reconstruction and expansion of gas transportation system and underground gas storage capacities. --0--
