Gas supply from Russia to Armenia, suspended due to pipeline repairs, resumed
YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. “Gazprom-Armenia” CJSC reports the resumption of natural gas supplies to Armenia from Russia through Georgian territory.
"On July 26, from 13:40, the supply of natural gas (from Russia) to Armenia was resumed, which was temporarily suspended due to repair and restoration work on the Kazakh-Suguramo section of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia main transit gas pipeline," the company reports.
Earlier, it was reported that gas supplies to Armenia were terminated from 7:00 on July 24 due to repairs on a section of the main gas pipeline in Georgia. During this period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers in Armenia was carried out due to internal reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from Iran.
