YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan and a delegation from the International Automobile Federation (FIA), headed by Secretary General for Sport Valerio Iachizzi, discussed prospects for cooperation in motorsports and tourism, as well as investment incentives.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, during the meeting held yesterday, prospects for developing cooperation between Armenia and the FIA (including Formula 1) were discussed, aimed at fully utilizing the industrial and engineering potential in motorsports and stimulating tourism through the organization of international events. Issues of increasing Armenia's investment attractiveness and strengthening its positioning on the international stage were also discussed.
Papoyan presented Armenia's economic development priorities and ongoing infrastructure projects, emphasizing the importance of deepening international partnerships, actively engaging the private sector, and creating a favorable investment climate.
The Minister reaffirmed the Armenian government's readiness to support joint initiatives and consider mutually beneficial proposals.
