YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced another increase in the number of tourists and record figures in the sector in August 2025.
In particular, according to the data he presented, 300,919 tourists visited Armenia in August 2024, and 334,396 tourists in August 2025.
"Compared to the previous year, the increase was 33,477 people, or +11.1%. In the statistics of tourist visits, May, June, July and August of this year are the months with the largest number of tourists visiting Armenia in the entire history of observations," Papoyan wrote on Facebook.
