Economic forum to be organized at Armenia Francophonie summit

An economic forum will be held on the sidelines of a Francophonie Summit that Armenia will host on October 11-12 in 2018, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at the 34th Ministerial Conference of the International Organization of Francophonie (IOF).
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27. /ARKA/. An economic forum will be held on the sidelines of a Francophonie Summit that Armenia will host on October 11-12 in 2018, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at the 34th Ministerial Conference of the International Organization of Francophonie (IOF).
"One of the important events that we are going to hold as part of the summit is a Francophonie economic forum. The goal of the event will be to encourage contacts between entrepreneurs, to discuss the challenges and development prospects," Nalbandian said.
The Ministerial Conference of Francophonie approved the motto of the Yerevan summit, which is "To live together."
Nalbandian also said that pomegranate, which is considered symbolic in the Armenian culture, was chosen as the logo of the 17th Summit of the Francophonie in Yerevan.
‘We attach great importance to the strengthening of institutional and professional contacts of entrepreneurs and we hope that in Yerevan it will be possible to create a base for launching francophone business network,’ Nalbandian said.
The participants of the conference also watched a film about how Armenia is going to organize the summit.-0-
