YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. According to preliminary data, economic growth in Armenia in 2025 will be approximately 5.5% to 6%. Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this, noting that the exact figures will be known after the Statistical Committee publishes the figures.
"In 2025, we remained in the high growth range. Growth trends remain strong," Hovhannisyan said.
According to him, this is the reason why the international rating agency Fitch Ratings revised the outlook on Armenia's long-term foreign currency issuer default rating (LTFC IDR) from "stable" to "positive" and affirmed the rating at "BB-."
"Economic activity growth of 8.3% was recorded for January-November 2025. Inflation was within target limits—around 3.3%," Hovhannisyan said.
