Domestic trade in Armenia for 10 months amounted to 5.32 trillion drams, an increase of 3.2%
YEREVAN, December 10. /ARKA/. The domestic trade turnover in Armenia from January to October 2025 reached 5,323,923.2 million drams (at current prices), reflecting a 3.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.
For October 2025, this figure was 583,502.8 million drams, marking a 1% rise from October 2024, and a 2.2% increase from September.
Overall, the wholesale trade turnover for the first ten months totaled 3,485,293.0 million drams (65.5% of the total), with a growth of 2.5% compared to the same period last year. The retail trade turnover was 1,624,885.6 million drams (30.5%, with a growth of 4.2%), and the automobile trade turnover was 213,744.6 million drams (4%, with a growth of 7.9%).
In retail trade, stores represented 83.9% of the total retail turnover (1,362,892.5 million drams, with a growth of 4%), consumer goods markets accounted for 3.3% (53,317.2 million drams, a decrease of 4.1%), kiosks made up 1.2% (19,430.8 million drams, with a growth of 2.9%), and agricultural markets constituted 0.8% (13,723.4 million drams, with a growth of 2%). The share of other trade facilities was 10.8% (175,521.7 million drams, with a growth of 8.3%). ($1 - 381.82 drams).-0-
