Copper concentrate output in Armenia declines by 15 percent

Production of copper concentrate decreased in Armenia by 14.8% in the first two months of 2022 to about 53,900 tons, according to the National Statistics Committee (NSC).
YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. Production of copper concentrate decreased in Armenia by 14.8% in the first two months of 2022 to about 53,900 tons, according to the National Statistics Committee (NSC).
In the meantime, zinc concentrate production increased by 8.6% to 1,800 tons, while molybdenum concentrate production went up by 19.4% to around 3,500 tons.
In the reporting period about 1,500 tons of ferromolybdenum was produced as well, which is 33.2% more than in January-February 2021. -0-
