Construction volume in Armenia increased by 20.4% in the first three quarters, exceeding 374 billion drams

The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to September 2025 amounted to 462,162.0 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 20.7% compared to January to September 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to September 2025 amounted to 462,162.0 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 20.7% compared to January to September 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
 
Moreover, in September, this figure amounted to 87,308.9 million drams, a 22% increase compared to September of last year.
 
The volume of construction financed by the state budget for the first nine months amounted to 116,765.4 million drams, or 25.2% of the total construction volume (a 32.4% increase compared to the first nine months of 2024). The volume of construction financed by community funds amounted to 21,192.7 million drams (a 4.6% share, a 41.8% increase), while humanitarian aid funds amounted to 1,333.0 million drams (a 0.3% share, a 57.2% decrease), while organizational funds amounted to 221,177.4 million drams (a 47.9% share, a 17.9% increase), and the population's funds amounted to 101,693.5 million drams (a 22% share, a 14.7% increase).
 
Furthermore, the volume of construction financed by international loans over the first three quarters amounted to 29,914.7 million drams (a 6.5% share), with a 4.9% decrease compared to the first three quarters of last year. Of the international loans, the World Bank contributed AMD 1,220.3 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development AMD 1,789.9 million, the European Investment Bank AMD 649.7 million, the Asian Development Bank AMD 12,417.4 million, the German Development Bank AMD 1,835.1 million, and other institutions AMD 12,002.3 million.
 
The largest share of construction work was carried out in real estate (AMD 239,907.9 million, a 51.9% share of the total), transportation (AMD 58,455.7 million, a 12.6% share), and education (AMD 46,908.2 million, a 10.2% share). ($1 = AMD 382.54)
