Center for strategic initiatives of Armenian government opens in Yerevan

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan attended today the opening ceremony of the Center for Strategic Initiatives of the government of Armenia.
YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan attended today the opening ceremony of the Center for Strategic Initiatives of the government of Armenia.
"The Center’s objective is to develop a long-term strategy of economic development. It is a public -private partnership, and I'm sure that it will become an effective platform for the government and private sector to talk about our reform policies", Karapetyan said at the opening of the center.
The Executive Director of the Centre is Aleksandr Khachaturyan, an adviser to Prime Minister. The Prime Minister said that he pins on him and his team (composed of six people) great hopes.
According to Khachaturyan, the Centre will be funded from the state budget, international donor organizations and private donations. The first donation as Khachaturyan said, was made by Karen Karapetyan. -0--
