Car parking at Gyumri customs will be free for the first 3 days-SRC
YEREVAN, January 15. /ARKA/. No fees will be charged for parking cars on the territory of the Northern Customs in the second largest city of Gyumri for the first three days, the head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Rustam Badasyan said today.
However, starting from the 4th day, car owners will be charged a fee of 5,000 drams for each day of parking, Badasyan said during the discussion of a package of amendments to the law On State Duty in the second and final reading.
Currently, the fee is only 1,600 drams per day. According to Badasyan, the law will come into force 6 months after its adoption.
According to him, the load on Gyumri customs is quite heavy - some cars are kept in the specially protected territory for quite a long time, creating certain inconveniences for other business entities.
Thus, according to the draft law, by increasing the parking fee charged for temporary storage of cars, the load on the customs will be significantly reduced. ($1 – AMD 405.49). --0-
