Armenian Economy Minister Says There Are No Problems with Apricot Exports
YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan stated that there are currently no problems with the export of apricots from Armenia.
“Yesterday alone, 96 trucks loaded with apricots entered the Russian Federation from Armenia,” Papoyan wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, a total of 598 trucks with apricots crossed the Russian customs border from June 1 to 24.
Earlier, Armenian trucks with cognac encountered problems at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border. Due to additional laboratory tests requested by the Georgian side, dozens of trucks were unable to enter the Russian Federation for about two months. The problem was resolved in early June after negotiations with the Georgian side.
