Armenia to exempt cargoes from Kazakhstan from road and environmental payments

YEREVAN, April 12. /ARKA/. The Armenian government on Friday approved an agreement between Armenia and Kazakhstan on exemption of cargo shipments from road and environmental payments.

The decision will apply not only to bilateral, but also to transit cargo transportation. The government says this indicates the interest of the two states in deepening cooperation in the field of transport logistics and mutual use of their transit potential.

Armenia-Kazakhstan signed an agreement on international road transportation back in 2006, but the issue of these payments has not been settled yet. -0-
