Armenia appears to be the leading country in the South Caucasus region in terms of GDP per capita, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. Armenia appears to be the leading country in the South Caucasus region in terms of GDP per capita, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Thus, according to IMF data, GDP per capita in Armenia in 2023 is $8,280, in Georgia – $8,160 and in Azerbaijan – $7,530.
In Iran the GDP per capita is $4,230, in Russia - $13,010 and in Turkey - $13,380.
Armenian government’s growth projection for 2023 is 7%; the inflation is expected to be 4% (±1.5%). According to the Central Bank's forecast, Armenia's economy will grow by 8.3% and the 12-month inflation will be around 0%.-0-
